There is clearly insufficient information here to even make a reasonable guess. You are going to have to see a podiatrist in person, and you should prepare a far more detailed story of your problem prior to walking in his/her office than you have offered here. Be prepared to discuss under what circumstances it was first noticed, anything which may have been a possible cause, the characteristics of the pain, that which you may have already attempted in treatment, and how that worked. No one knows more about how this problem affects you than do you. Don't make the doctor drag it out of you. Be chronological in order, as well as concise and accurate, so that you don't have to withdraw, modify or re-characterize a statement, but can embellish upon it if needed or if the doctor needs some clarification based on your statement. |
