For some time now I have been having pain in my left foot. The focus of the pain is the upper-outside of the foot, around the joint of the small toe and the ball of the foot. The area is especially tender to pressure, and the pain escalates as I spend more time on my feet. Also, I have noticed that I have limited range of motion for this foot. It simply will not flex as much forward or backward as my right foot. I have previously had surgery to correct heel spurs on both feet, so basically, both of my feet are flat as pancakes. I don't know if this is causing the pain or if I have a stress fracture??? I thought to try compression bandages and rest, but the compression bandages alone were too much pressure in that area. I know I need to see the doctor, but I am afraid I might need more surgery - ugh! - so any advice would be appreciated.
(P.S. sorry my message is so long!)
