Help!
Landed on the ball of my left foot after jumping over small child. Landed on back inside part of ball while twisting left. Ball of Foot exploded in paing like fire and ran out across transverse head. Ball area swelled up for months but doctor said I ruptured the plantar facia in the arch.. That was three years ago and I have re-hurt the ball of the foot 7 times since. I had a small benign lesion (looked like a Shinny callus ) on the back inside on the ball of foot. Discovered it was not a wart after trying to remove it with vilot blue (Given by doctor) It was a benign lesion. I discoved this when I lightly filed off the top to help get the medicine in. My body went into spasams for 6 hours with electric socks trembling by body all over. My regular doctor tried to burn it off with liqiud nitrogen but 5 weeks later it got worse. More swelling between the big toe and 2nd toe in the nurve running up the inside of the big toe.
Finally had a core biopsy ( thought they were taking the whole thing out) done on lesion area 6 months ago but the stinging pain still comes from that spot and runs down into the "Y" of the nerve that goes to the first 2 toes.
In hours after light massage or cainial sacral treatement the ball of the foot and surrounding area are swollen again. Over night my entire arch swells up and gets tight.
I can walk on plush carpet or sand ok but shoes and hard surfaces bring on paing and swelling.
Question?
Is there a nerve near the lision close to the surface of the skin driving me crazy? Ive had most every test under the sun but nobody will do an ultra sound to look for nurve damage, If I just touch the lesion area with the tip of my finger I get electricity flowing and the nerve twitching. Again finding it hard to sleep at night. Strong tingling always going up my big toe and into my arch.
Should I see a nuro surgeon? HELP! EX Athelet.
