Thank you for your quick response. I spoke with my son about his pain more & he says it hurts more after he has played a sport, sat out for a while & then starts up again in the same game or practice. The most painful part is the middle of the bottom of his heel, but he says that the sides do hurt too.
He is not over-weight he is 5'3" 123 lbs, but wears a size 12 mens shoe.
At physical therapy they do a heat wrap with an "electric" pulse, ultrasound massage & stretching exercises, he was also given Spenco inserts.
Would you reccomend an xray or sonogram for a proper diagnosis?
He really does not want to give up sports.
