Swelling is certainly to be expected after such surgery, and that would likely account for the feeling of tightness about which you comment. The shine may be related to the prep-surgical prep or post-surgical painting of the area. But this is really no place to be obtaining meaningful real-time advice on a procedure done only 3 days ago, though it would be my opinion that your surgeon should have clearly advised you to expect the swelling, as it occurs in just about every surgery of this nature.
