I cannot tell you whether riding your bike will be helpful or harmful for your arch pain, as I don't know what the cause of your arch pain is.
I didn't say that normal ranges of motion should help scar tissue. What I DID say was,
"Physical therapy, begun at an appropriate time, early in the postoperative course, when the scar tissue has not yet achieved full tensil strength through infiltration of collagen fibers may assist in a return to normal ranges of motion."
As far as surgical excision of scar tissue or manipulation under local anesthesia is concerned, I did not specifically recommend either in your case, and I don't know if either would be appropriate for you. I was simply listing the posible modes of treatment which your doctor might consider if he/she felt it appropriate. |
