Dear Kristen, There are many possibilities that could be causing this hard knot on your foot. It would be most prudent to have this evaluated by one who has experience with foot problems. In 25 years of practice this problem presents frequently and usually is a benign simple problem to solve. However, I have seen several malignancies with worrisome outcomes. Please get it looked at.
