Subject: Possible hysteroscopy with former RE

I have done four years of treatment with several REs in NY over 40. I have a low FSH still. Always produced many eggs but no luck. I decided to stop and try on my own with my husband. I suddenly started to get heavy bleeding, went to a new OBGYN for a saline sono and it was a disaster with the sono not working, the saline...nothing like the five others I had with REs. Her assessment was that a fibroid close to my lining is now slightly in my cavity and has grown and that is what she thinks is causing my bleeding.

My question is: If I called a former fertily doctor to address this with a hysteroscopy to shave off the part of the fibroid that may be in uterus, would they take me as a patient even though I am no longer doing treatment, and considering my age, yet trying on my own with my husband?
