IRMS now accepts CIGNA, Aetna, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Oxford, UnitedHealthcare, QualCare, GHI in New Jersey (administered by Qualcare) and Saint Barnabas health plans.

Find a local twins group in your area. I had twins through IRMS and the BEST double stroller that accepts the car seats is the Double Snap and Go, which puts the babies in tandem, not side by side but it is light, easy to maneuver and they will only be in the buckets for a very very short time (in the overall grand scheme of things.) With respect to strollers, you want something easy to use (you will probably be alone a fair amt with them) for one adult, lightweight (I was IN LOVE with an Italian side by side stroller that my husband insisted that I could have if I could collapse and lift it myself into our car....Forget it...it weighed about 50 lbs and although beautiful...I had to remember that 2 year olds are not infants and pushing all that load would have been a nightmare.) Consider the Combi side by side for when they get bigger. And the product needs to be durable. Good luck. |
