Dear Melissa, I don`t think " Artist Intervention" is a simple word. It is much more complex that that. I am having a hard time defining and interpreting these two words. I do know, what Nick writes is true about Entertainment and Art. Nick writes.. "when an Artist does create a meaningful piece of art, it passes for entertainment rather then art" The meaning is then lost, and the next step for the artist should be to find a more effective route to the people. I am not sure if you know the artist and composer " Yanni" he is just my favorite artist. He is an artist in every sense and NOT a entertainer. Yanni composes music so the audience can interpret what the music is saying by their emotions. Yanni took the effective route, just like Nick said. Nick is so right. Yanni hardly uses words in his compostions, he reaches his audience through their emotions, he lets the audience interpret his music. This is where I can see the difference between "Artist and "Entertainer. Also, Yanni is considered by everyone as a artist, he is never labeled an entertainer. Nick is right on the money with this....what a genius, what a thinker!!!!

Back during the time of Nick's list. Nick was writing what seemed to me to be a compelling hope for future existence. Although I was in a state of mind where I found it all just to be another piece of life, just another e-mail to read, a fun one in the respect that it was a list with multiple interactions, but just another email none the less. There was no meaning to it, I was simple a person defending my beliefs and standing my ground of ....
