"they only have to do what they swore to do when they took the job, fight crime. Not fight it the easiest way they can, but fight it EVERYWHERE it is."
Okay, first off, you cannot fight "every" crime, but you can some. If you say "Every Crime", you can even look at homelessness being left to be labeled as a crime...But only if you look at it that way. While cops toss homeless people away, the US people are throwing away millions of dollars worth of left over food that they don't eat, and let go to watse. Also, maybe if you did your part to fight crime, you would be helping people. Considering Homelessness is a crime, I don't see you giving your wasted food to the homeless. I don't see any of you trying to do anything out of your way like that. Look at a Program called "Food Not Bombs". They go around, and get the left overs from stores, mini marts, and deli's. All of the food the places don't use, the Food Not Bombs program picks up. Homelessness is a crime, and I don't see anyone giving their "left overs" to anyone who needs them.
My point is, is that no one can fight crime everywhere, but you can do what you can as a person, not as a job.
And if you're looking at it like a job, it's everyones job as a human being to do what they can to help eachother.
