Ive spent some time cleaning up the longboard thats been on the side of my house under the eves.Ive always known its a Jacob by the "surfboard by Jacob" sticker. The nose was cut off about 3-4 inches before I got it. It has the 2 inch bolsa stringer, a blue fiberglass fin. Its a tank of a board and Ive realized it actually in good shape.
There is an epoxy gel coat of white top and bottom but the paint is not covering the 4 inch middle portion, top and bottom. Is this how they where made or did someone do that later.
What do you think Ive got here, and what would the value to restoration be. Ive made a couple of phone calls and really dont know what I should do. |
