Hi H.,

10 years riding a Foil! I don't think there are many people that can say that. Best friends sometimes don't even know each other that long! Very cool.

Maybe you could check the number again, as it is a bit confusing for me. It would mean that the board was made in the later half of summer 1970... a month or so after any other Foil I've seen. Also, it's about 7 or 8 months after the Maui Foil replaced the Australian Foil. The Maui Foil usually has the Phoenix Bird lam (that's what I call it) on it, while the A. Foil has the large "Foil" word across the deck, along with an Australian "code of arms." Maybe the 6 is actually a 5?

Please confirm the number and then Bing will look up your board's number in his old order book and give you information about its original order.
