That's a beautiful, new "original" noserider, shaped by Matt Calvani at the Bing Factory in Encinitas. It was made in April 2011. It's called "original" because it is very similar to the original 1966-67 David Nuuhiwa noserider model that Bing, Donald Takayama and Dan Bendiksen designed, except Matt has made it lighter and refined the shape some. It has the same template, 5-band stringer cluster, tailblock and concave under the nose as the original. This is the true original noserider that every other board builder has copied, both in the past and today.
