I believe spirit approaches every experience with a greater level of consciousness.
So sprit will repeat the same pattern, each time with a greater level of conscioussness. So from the spirit perspective, it's not exactly the same pattern - the consciousness around it is shifting.
The souls level of consciousness may no longer resonate with an experience and this is where a I beleive a soul feels pain; the experience is very vibrationally different from the soul's level of consciousness.
Each fractal has a unique set of frequencies - just like each chakra, organ, etc. has it's own unique frequencies and so some experiences resonate greatly with a particular soul in time space.
Outside of time space, the chakras/fractals are not separate. Yet Spirit is ever becoming more consciousness- the fractals are mirroring this on the time/space plane
