My Father Harvey Burrow (nicknamed “Mule”) was one of the original paratroopers. He was in 501st Co C which later became Co C of the 551st in Panama.

He jumped into France on August 16, 1994 and wound up at the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944. He was hospitalized from January 7, 1944 to March 24, 1944.

On April 10, 1945, he was transferred to Service Company 508th PIR and then to Company E 508th PIR.

Sometime later he was evidently transferred to Company H 507th before July 14, 1945 (I have a liberty pass he was issued).

In August 1945 he was shipped back to the States.

I am trying to find out where he was and what he was doing with the 508th after he joined them. I am hoping to find someone who served with him and/or had documents such as Morning Reports where I can piece together the movements.

Any help would be appreciated.
