I am looking for any information on Elroy Bennett he was my father and would like to discover all the different attalions he was in to complete his war records. We have tried many times in the past but get to closed doors. My father passed away in 1984 but feel the I want to find out some answers to questions I have. Such as why would he never enjoy a sunset after he was out of the service. What is meant by rifleman 754, He was a paptrooper but only had one jump? than captured where and when. Whatr camp was he. I have so many questions I couls write a book. I am hoping anyone can help direct me to the right place to fill in the answers from all of my questions.
