I believe you are thinking of Claude Rogers as the skinny guy that got busted from E-5,he was stoned all the time so I never figured out how he got promoted anyway. Saw Lt. Shepard at the airport in about 68 or 69, he was a Maj. but was really messed up and in a wheelchair, Viet Nam was not good to him. He told me 1st Sgt Mixon and Sgt. Doxtater from weapons platoon were killed and that Sgt. Mocanui /sp/ had brought his body home. Other than that the only name I have ever seen was that clown that never broke starch and smelled like crap, Segur, and he was in a jump school graduation book that a friends brother had from 66 or 67 and was an E-5 instructor, amazing I could not believe it was him.
