Thanks for the answer. I knew we could shoot clays in the berm, but I had no idea we could do metallic spinners for 22LR. It seems like most of these types of targets are small and meant to be in the ground, or perhaps I am thinking of something totally different. The different types I know about have for example a top and bottom "plate" that spins around a heavy wire "frame" that is stuck in the ground or something like a small disc or squirrel etc silhouette that does essentially the same but only hangs on this wire thing, and I'd assume you'd want that up 3 feet or so in the berm so we don't have bullets hitting the ground in the case of a miss? I may be totally missing something here and could use some clarity. I have two boxes of clays at home but I seem to forget them every single time I come, but I could easily keep a spinner in the car. I understand it's 22LR ONLY (crystal clear) and that makes sense for ricochet issues.
Am I on the right track about the metallic spinners, and could you clarify exactly what is meant when you say at 100. Targets are fun, but it's nice to peg some clays or something that gives a little feedback once in a while. I used to go to a gamelands range that had metallic plate targets but it's a hell of a drive just to hear an impact.
