Our Platform: We’ll continue to seek member input to club operations beyond these elections. We have the talent, the experience and the contacts to work with the City and to responsibly manage all club projects and curb overspending. We’ll see that an Audit of Association funds and resources is conducted (none was performed in the last 2 years). We’ll scrutinize projects to see them designed and executed better while prudently limiting our capital expenditures. We have a Capital Expenditures Budget – it’s high time we adhered to it. We have some big, big bills facing the club in the next few years, so this is essential if the club is to survive and flourish.
We’ll work to reverse our shrinking membership and growing expenses trends. We’ll continue to represent all the club’s shooting disciplines and protect the interests of all our members. We’ll do all this while keeping HF&G a safe and friendly place to enjoy all the shooting sports. We’ll make sure HF&G remains visibly active in the City political and civic arenas. We’ll work with insight and foresight to keep the club here into the 22nd Century!
We do not promise to make HF&G the garden spot of Philadelphia at the expense of the club. We do promise to zealously watchdog what comes in and goes out of the club to keep us fiscally sound and in a position to continue to grow and improve. Yes, we spend money to make HF&G a better facility and Yes we get the biggest bang for our buck at the same time. Only in this way do we live up to our moniker of:

Philadelphia’s Premier Shooting and Sportsman’s Club!
