Celebrate Independence Day at Holmesburg Fish & Game
All Members and their families are invited to the annual club picnic.
The club will provide soft drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers, roast pork and salads.
Bring a covered dish, salad, side dish, or something to throw on the grill, if you want.
Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 rain or shine from 11AM until 4PM
(sorry, but no alcohol will be permitted as the ranges will be open.
The Rifle Range is limited to .22 caliber LR only during the picnic hours)
Beginning at 9 AM, there's a Cowboy six-gun and lever action shoot on the Pistol Range.
Yep, outdoors! Y'all come to see how it's done or join in the fun (just bring ammo if you don't have the cowboy guns to shoot the match). After the shoot, the Pistol Range is open for general use.
The Plinksters will have reactive targets set up on the Rifle Range, so if you're looking for something the youngsters (or the young at heart) to do, bring out your favorite .22 Rifle and ammo and have at it!
Of course Shotgun will be open for business too.Why not come shoot a round, have some lunch, shoot a round, have some more lunch... ? Well you get the idea!
If you decide to use the Indoor Range, remember it's lead rounds only (no jacketed bullets and no magnum rounds), and the only rifles permitted indoors are .22 LR.
