Fellow Military and Tactical league competitors,

It's been nearly 7 months since our last match, but on September 27th, we will restart our 2020 league! Hopefully, we can finish out the season without further interruptions.

There are some updates given the brevity of the season, so please read through the revisions below in their entirety.

Military Pistol

- For the five remaining Military Pistol dates on the club calendar, we will be holding two full matches on each date with the first starting at 0800. It is hoped we'll be able to get in the full 10 match season by doubling up each scheduled day.
- For Military pistol, you may use any center-fire, fixed-sight pistol or revolver. No adjustable sights. No Optics. Only those pistols meeting the criteria for eligibility will be counted for a match award and year end award. That stated, if you use a pistol that has adjustable sights, your scores will not be counted.
- Pre-existing match designations will be bypassed; no Vintage, Target or Semi Auto matches. This means that the match on September 27th is no longer a designated "Semi-Auto" match.
- The first 50 rd. match of the day will follow the traditional format on B-27C targets. The second 50 rd. match will contain a "mystery" stage to be announced at that time. A traditional match format is also one of designated mystery stages and I will swap in two additional traditional matches to replace the supported and unsupported weak hand stages. Given the swap, there could be three match dates where both matches fired that day use the straight format.

Military Pistol match dates are as follows:
September 27, 2020 - Military Pistol #1 & #2
October 11, 2020 - Military Pistol #3 & #4
October 25, 2020 - Military Pistol #5 & #6
November 29, 2020 - Military Pistol #7 & #8
December 6, 2020 - Military Pistol #9 & #10

Tactical Pistol

- The lone Tactical match date of 2020 will also feature two 50 rd. matches with the first starting at 0800; both will follow the traditional format on B-27C targets. The good news is, if you shoot both matches on that day, you will be automatically qualified for a 2020 award in Tactical pistol if your pistol meets the eligibility criteria.

- For Tactical pistol, you may use either a center-fire semi-automatic pistol with a barrel that does not exceed 3 1/2 inches (Makarovs and Walther PPKs are OK) or a center-fire revolver with a barrel that does not exceed 3 inches. Only those pistols meeting the criteria for eligibility will be counted for a match award and year end award. That stated, if you use a pistol that exceeds the designated barrel lengths at our only Tactical outing, your scores will not be counted.

Tactical Pistol matches #1 and #2 are set for November 8, 2020.

Looking forward to seeing everyone back on the line this Sunday!
