Fellow Military and Tactical league competitors,
Given easing of city's CV-19 restrictions, I've scheduled two makeup match dates for the 2020 league.
1/31 - Tactical Pistol #1 and #2 - Outdoor range - 0800 Start
2/7 - Military Pistol #9 and #10 - Outdoor range - 0800 Start
If you shoot in the both Tactical Pistol matches on 1/31, you will automatically be qualified for a Tactical Pistol award. As a reminder, for Tactical pistol, you may use either a center-fire semi-automatic pistol with a barrel that does not exceed 3 1/2 inches (Makarovs and Walther PPKs are OK) or a center-fire revolver with a barrel that does not exceed 3 inches. Only those pistols meeting the criteria for eligibility will be counted for a match award and year end award. If you use a pistol that exceeds the designated barrel lengths at our only Tactical outing, your scores will not be counted. Standard course of fire for both matches.
Qualifications for a Military Pistol award remain the same at best 6 matches out of 10 matches. If you've already got your 6 matches in and the weather is lousy, you can sit this one out or come out again to better your score. As a reminder, for Military pistol, you may use any center-fire, fixed-sight pistol or revolver. No adjustable sights. No Optics. Only those pistols meeting the criteria for eligibility will be counted for a match award and year end award. That stated, if you use a pistol that has adjustable sights, your scores will not be counted. The first match will be a standard course of fire and the second match of the day will be a mystery match; there are still 2 standard matches that could be drawn for that second match.
Thanks for your support this past year and into 2021! |
