I think it is a great idea! I recently did an art collection, but rather than set a specific price, I charged an hourly rate so I got paid for all the time I put in...that way you do not have to put a limit to the number of pieces that you will document. This way you can do unlimited pieces and still get paid for your time! FYI, my hourly rate is $95 per hour.
And P.S. If theft is a problem in your area, you probably should contact Ari and get an information package on his "Data Dots" to help in recovery of stolen items. That could be a real asset to your business! Check it out.
