Just getting started with Labview. I have ordered a 6527 and a GPIB card but I'd like to start developing now. The instructions for adding a simulated instrument are simple but nothing is being added under "Devices and Interfaces".
Just to review. I'm in the Measurement and Automation explorer. I've right clicked on Devices and Interfaces and selected Create New. I selected NI_DAQmx Simulated device and hit Finish. Picked my device and hit OK.
Nothing happens....
