You all know that I live far away. I live in a state where the "Victim's Bill of Rights" is a law. I am not normally a politically inclined person, but now being an election year,is the time to make a statement. It is time to evaluate all the candidates. Ask the hard questions about their stand on victim's rights. Evaluate those who are running for office. Make your own decisions, but remember that the status quo doesn't help you or any of your fellow citizens. It is time to get off our collective asses and MAKE A STATEMENT AT THE POLLS. Support the candidates whether at the state or local level who will support the cause for justice and not those who are apathetic or have failed to even speak about victim's rights! I have seen the difference in the concepts being law and just concepts and the people of Pennsylvania and Reading are the losers. |
