THIS IS BEING POSTED ANONYMOUSLY, WRITTEN BY A FAMILY ENDURING THE WAIT FOR TRIALS, HEARINGS AND INFORMATION IN BERKS COUNTY PA
Apparently they (THOSE WHO NOW REPRESENT OUR VICTIMS) do not choose to recognize that WE (all of us) are victims too. I hope that you don't take this as it may sound, but maybe our departed loved ones are lucky. They do not have to deal with a system which apparehtly feels that we are NOT victims, that we are normal happy go lucky people who do not care. They are WRONG!!! We feel the pain still. We have the sleepless nights. We are the ones in counseling and support groups. We are the ones on medications to ATTEMPT to dull the pain. Because WE were not the ONES MURDERED they think that WE are not VICTIMS of the crime. How far from the truth. I now know more sadness, pain, hopelessness and ANGER than I have felt in my whole life since my loved one's murder. Unless you have been or are in our shoes, don't you dare tell me I'm not a victim. You may be picking up your teeth.
