We are well into the month of May and even though the water is extremely low and the may flies have hatched fishing has been very good. Karen has even managed to get a 14.5 inch perch to mount. The walleye have moved into the lake early this year do to the early spring. If the weather continues on this path it should make for a good bear hunt as I believe the berries like everything else this year will be early and the harvest should be done by the time the hunt starts. The only draw back to all this heat is we are under a fire ban for the foreseeable future.
