An angle grinder is the simpler way to cut around the toilet flange, but a tile saw will work also.
The main thing to remember is the cuts are going to be covered by the toilet so the don't really have to be very pretty. Make sure you leave at least a 1/4" gap around the flange. On the side where the bolts are you have to keep the tile close to the flange because the toilet doesn't cover much, but on the front and back of most toilets you have more toliet to cover any irregular cuts. |
