In the on-line instructions it states not to cover the grout while it is curing, but there is no way I can keep our cats (with claws) off of the area to be grouted for 24 hours, let alone a week for full cure. Would it be OK to cover a grouted area, with corrugated cardboard for example, to keep paws (and feet) off, but still allow the grout to "breath", but more slowly ? If it is is there any rule of thumb as to how much this slows curing down ?
