CITU is hoping to attract outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds to participate in a new project for the tailwater. We hope to use a website called iNaturalist to record any and all observations of nature in the Brookville tailwater area. Insects, birds, fish, plants, mammals and anything else you might encounter as you visit the tailwater. For most participants all you need to do is download the app and then take a quality picture of your "Observation" and upload it to the website. It's ok if you don't always know what your observation is called. There are resources to aid in the identification within the iNaturalist community. CITU is working on developing new pages on this website to assist anyone interested in participating. You can view your observations as well as any others by visiting the site. CITU does not control the content in any way.
