Thanks for the tips. Yes, the dog is doing better. I've passed along the info you gave me to my parents. They've been diligent about how they handle the feeding and potty breaks. They told me it's been hard, but it has been working! While there has been times when the dog refuses to go, just as you said, they put him in the crate when they know he should have to go because he's eaten or it's been awhile, etc.. then they try again about thirty minutes later, and the dog goes! They make a party out of it, and the dog is getting the hang of it! Thank goodness, because he's a real great pup otherwise - I think they are feeling good about him now and can see complete success in the near future. Thank you so very much! Jose |
