Back in March, the wonderful Search Angels on here put me in touch with my birthson after almost 40 years. We have been e-mailing since June (took him 3 mos. to decide to contact me which is fine).
He is in the military and getting deployed in a couple of weeks. This past weekend, I received an e-mail from him saying his last TDY (he travels all the time) before deployment is this week and he put in for the city I live in! He called me last night and we are meeting for the very first time this week. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I cannot believe after 40 years, this moment has finally come!
To all you out there who are searching, don't ever give up hope. God knows when it's your time as He did mine!
