I was born at Home Private in Old Town,Maine the end on November 1953. I was born first and the second baby girl didn't cry at birth. The nurse picked her up and removed her from room and my mother was told baby was dead. There was no death certificate or grave. My birth certificate was sealed for many years In OLd Town Me.I am going to go to Augusta to see the original. We have gone to Folger Library to try and find something out but the records are a mess.My mother kept it a secret for many years and I finally found out accidently
through a sibling. My mom finally admitted it to me when I was 45 yrs.old.They were paupers at the time I was born and the State of Maine gave them the money to move.I told her I thought it was a lie and that the baby was sold within the family. We moved to Ariz.where I was brought up until we moved here when I was 16.I can't tell you how many times I have been approached by strangers that think they know me. The people have always been very polite,well-dressed and positive they knew me.The last time was 1 1/2yrs.ago and I was in the hospital and the nurse's aide assigned to me for the day argued with me that she knew me.I tried to be polite but I was very sick on the cardiac floor and they changed her. I always had the twin dreams growing up and she never had an explanation.I do believe I have a twin and would like to talk to her as I have many health problems and many are genetic.I believe if it's meant to be I'll meet her but it would be really nice.I've always felt like something is missing but when no one will talk, there are no answers. The nurse's aide did say she lived in Milford at the end of the Call Road.
