While looking at some of the inquiries on the message board, I would like to find out a good point to start looking for my birth parent/1st adopted mother. Born April 3, 1946 in Purcell, Oklahoma I only have a birth certificate of my 2nd adoption dated July, 1952. Adoption records in my state, Oklahoma, are sealed and DHS's non-descriptive info state I was given up for adoption at 6 months. This adoption lasted till June, 1951 at that time I was returned back to DHS and sent to several foster homes until my second adoption. I do not know my birth name and remember very little prior to my 2nd adoption. DHS hinted of possible abuse since they indicated I was withdrawn and difficult to communicate with. So, to my original question. Where to start looking? |
