 Subject: girl 1956-1957 ft. benning

acquaintenance told tearful story to me in the dark when I was about 13--I am now 52. She told of giving up being forced to give up girl for adoption by her present husband. I have sense child was biracial (Caucasian/African-American)--not certain. Mother was in the military. Child may have been born on base and probably was. Child has half-siblings. Mother has passed.
