I am looking for any mothers that may have been in some type of catholic home for unwed mothers in Auburn NY. I have heard there may have been one there but I am looking for a name or location or some confirmation to verify my birth location. I am fairly confident my family was NOT from there and think she may have been moved there to give birth. (basically I am trying to verify that my amended birth certificate is valid)
