I have just started looking for my half sister. She would not know of my existence. She was born in Germany and adopted to the united states. I thought both parents were american, but I don't know that for a fact. My father's name is William Hughes. He traveled around West Germany in the late fifties and early sixties, selling china teacups. Met a lovely German girl, and got her pregnant. She was young, they weren't staying a couple, so adoption. My father has passed, and I have no further information. His family disowned him for eventually marrying a german girl, here in Canada. (His brother died in WW II, fighting the Germans).
