Hi, I was born Ann Prior on 05.01.1941. Mothers name Doreen May Prior and she was 18. I was born in Gravesend England.Adopted at 6 months and was given the name Julia Moore. Met birth Mother about 20 years ago and she is now deceased but would tell me nothing. Was adopted at the Dartford County court on December 1941. They no longer hold the records. Records were then stored in a wooden shed with many other at Medway Hospital but there was fire and all was destroyed. My father was a pilot, Canadian and new of my birth.He knew I was to be adopted. Other than that I have searched but without a surname and unable to obtain any further records I have had no success. Any one have a clue or can help Thank you. As you see I shall be 74 this year and would dearly like to be a whole person before my life comes to an end. I have searched many years and have tried the Canadian message boards without success there either. Many Thanks. |
