I was born in Charity Hospital in New Orleans, La, on Oct. 16, 1951. Dr.Eugene H. Countess delivered me. I have found out that Dr. Countiss, a NO OB/GYN, volunteered his OB/GYN services for the then Methodist Home in NO. A Methodist minister and his wife from MS adopted me as an infant. They were wonderful parents but never told me anything beyond I was adopted, born in NO, and born 10/16/1951. I am looking for any leads that might give me closure. I may have a living parent. I could have siblings. If so, I would like to know. I am not angry. I am blessed, and I know my birth mother has to have struggled with the decision to surrender me. I would love to look her in the eyes and tell her I understand .
