Baby boy,born 9/5/56 Richard,and brother David born 9/57 / were taken to Elida Children's home both boys were adopted 1962, by a good couple. prior to adoptive fathers death Richard was told he was born on Black Mountain, NC,in addition his birth mother may have been in jail, or facing jail when the boys were surrendered.There may have been a sister , Richard recalls a girl checking on him at Elida he was five or six. He just wants to know if he has any family.David passed away in 2002 ,these bothers were one year apart,blonde hair, fair skin,blue eyes.Somewhere on Black Mountain or in that area there has to be some one older that would remember children taken from the mother.It was simply unheard of in that time , Elida Children'shome says they have no records from 1957_1962.Richard does not know how old he was when he was surrendered there.
