I am searching for my full biological brother who was born on 5-9-1954 in Detroit, Michigan at William Booth Memorial Hospital.He was born to Chere May Duquette (Gartley) and she gave him the birth name of Ricky Jo. He was adopted shortly thereafter to what my mother had believed to be a doctor and his wife. She also had told me she thought they lived in somewhere in Macomb County, Michigan. It was a closed adoption however the agency who completed the adoption was sent a couple of pictures and a letter when he was 4 months old. When I initially started looking for my brother the agency forwarded copies to me. Due to finances, raising 5 children of my own, working full time and very limited resources, I had stopped searching for many years. Ricky Jo is the first born and oldest of 7 children. It is my wish to find him not only for me, my siblings but for my mother who for years thought it was impossible due to the records being sealed. |
