I see the same thing, hopelessness and frustration. So my first suggestion is to get someone, probably a family member to help.
If you were born in the US they will probably be fairly easy to track down. Have you DNA tested yet? If not thats the best place to start, both 23andme and Ancestry, then trasfer to GEDmatch, then while you wait for that start making notes of the information you have. It will take time and lots of brick walls, thats why you need someone who will just push forward no matter what is encountered. Don't forget this web site they can help too. |
