Based on what little I know, my Mother was born in 1926 or 1927 but wound up in an orphanage in San Antonio, Texas. She thought her birth surname was Taylor, but not sure. The story is that her mother died in childbirth or shortly thereafter, and her birth father was killed in some kind of accident. She then ended up in an orphanage in San Antonio. She was adopted by Charles N and Esther M. Norman in approximately 1931 or 1932. Anyone that has any information about her birth family I would appreciate you contacting me. Thank you! |
