My mother was found on the doorstop of St Vincent’s Church on 7/20 or 7/27/1920. She was named by the nun and priest who found her: Lori Anderson (or other variation of this name). She was adopted by William Aloysius Washington Murphy And Mary Berry (Or Barry) Murphy. Her uncle at the time was the commissioner of Police and her father a Delegate in the Post Ofgice. I am trying to find out anything about her or her adoptive family.
