Hi, How exciting. Did you see the birth index entry? if not let me know. I will try to see if its readable and send you a picture of her birth name. I am so happy you got to meet some family. Btw, since the records weren't sealed in ny till 1935, you maybe able to push ny foundling or the courts for some information. I know ny foundling is hard to deal with. By law they won't usually give anyone but the adoptee information.
