So was he adopted and left South Africa or do you think he is still there? Was this a private adoption or through an agency? I am going to guess if you posted here you think he may have traveled to the US? Your going to need to find a paper trail and I would also suggest DNA testing with Ancestry and 23andme. I would post on other boards too just in case he looks for you too. Facebook can be a good tool for this.
