I read your post on G's. I read the site and try to help for a hobby. I found this:

On the 1940 census in Detroit MI there is this family:

Florence Finch. 60 mother
Herbert Finch 28 son
Alice 23 married (assumed his wife)
William 32 son
Bernice Finch 21 married (assumed his wife)
Bobby Finch age 1 assume son of above. (William and Bernice)

Could William have had an affair blMlefore or after he married Bernice and gave up twins? Is Detroit close to Oakland Co? I haven't lookeMd?

I live in Tx and have more Tx records than any other. Is there some way I can help with Tx info?
