My father lived a long, frustrating life of searching for his birth parents. My wife and I discovered their names just after my father passed away. But we also found out that he had a brother and sister. Joseph Wilson was born 1920 in Fort Worth, Texas; sister Marguerite Wilson was born 1924 in Galveston, Texas. Both were given up for adoption in July 1924 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. Their last names may have been given as Curtis, Carlos, or DonCarlos when they were surrendered for adoption, possibly at DePelchin in Houston. I know they are probably deceased, but if I could find their families (if any), I could let them know that hereditary hemochromatosis runs in our family. They should know so that they can be treated as needed. I have filled out the registration information on the GSAdoption Site and look forward to working with a Search Angel. |
