The man disappeared. My mother met my Father, married and my mother and 8 of us immigrated to the Unites States in 1963. We are still looking under German geneology. There are so many Roswitha Schmitt's I did find one name and a close to birth date on Ancestry.com. All the Roswitha Schmitt's I found does not give my mother's name as birth mother.
From what I understand Roswitha was adopted by a Armed Forces couple and was brough to US. I don't know if they ever changed her name or even her date of birth.
We want to find her and I've tried alot of avenues. Any suggestions.?
